Baccus joins Perth Glory before AC Siena move

Promising midfielder Kearyn Baccus has joined A-League club Perth Glory on a short-term deal prior to his impending move to Italian outfit AC Siena.

The 21-year old Australian has been tracked by Siena for a while now but the Serie A club have been unable to secure his services until 2013.

Baccus will play with the Glory for part of the 2012/13 A-League season and then will make the move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi as confirmed by Siena president Massimo Mezzaroma.

"Kearyn is a talented young player that we have monitored for some time but his non-EU status has made it difficult for us to register him until 2013," he said.

"We are therefore delighted that in the meantime he will join Perth Glory FC in his homeland of Australia where he will play first team football until his return to Italy next year."

Baccus has most recently been playing with French club Le Mans after arriving there in 2009 but will now suit up for the Glory until January.
