Ryan Babel insists Liverpool can still qualify for the Champions League.
Rafael Benitez's troops are currently two points behind fourth place Tottenham Hotspur, who have a game in hand, but Babel insists Liverpool are not prepared to throw in the towel.
"We aren't thinking about anything that people might be saying about Manchester United and everything (about the title race)," said the Dutchman.
"We have still got something to fight for and we are determined to try and win the rest of our games. We are all hoping that our rivals will drop some points.
"We still have to hope that we can get fourth place and we are going to do everything we can to get it. That's why it is so important we perform."
