Liverpool attacker Ryan Babel says they're in a great position to win the Premiership thanks to their record this season against fellow contenders.

"At the end of the season I think the difference will be the games we play against the top sides," Babel, who scored the winner against Manchester United in September, told liverpoolfc.tv.

"We have already beaten Manchester United and Chelsea so hopefully we can take points from Arsenal as well now.

"But we try not to look at the others and focus on ourselves.

"It's clear that these next few months will be very important. We have a lot of games to play but it's very important to keep everybody fit and try to win most of the games we play."
