Former Liverpool defender Phil Babb says his old club is being rewarded this season for standing by manager Brendan Rodgers.
"It's a joy to watch," Babb told the Mirror.
"The possession they had was unbelievable, they were putting 20 or 30 passes together. Don't get me wrong, Spurs didn't offer much resistance yesterday but it really was men against boys.
"Liverpool are a team brimming with confidence and scoring goals.
"Brendan has instilled a philosophy and hasn't changed it, he just keeps hammering it into the boys. All of a sudden it has clicked and everyone has bought into it and knows their jobs and the style of play.
"That system they use is very hard to play against and is designed to confuse the opposition. When you've got forwards on fire, with the movement they've got, it makes it even harder to play against."
