Ba predicts top four finish from Newcastle
Newcastle striker Demba Ba is confident that despite the Magpies current sixth place position in the league they are perfectly placed to end the season in a Champions League slot.
The Toon are just one point off fourth place, and Ba believes his side can still push for a place in Europe’s premier competition.
"Other teams are working to be the best too and maybe they have a bit more quality than us but we're doing very well. This season is ours - we just need to enjoy it." "I didn't think it [the season] would be as successful as it has been," Ba told the Northern Echo. "You always work to be one of the best and that is what I am doing here - it is what I will continue to do.
