West Ham United's new goalscoring sensation Demba Ba is confident that his new club can avoid the drop this season.
The Senegalese striker netted his fourth goal in just his fourth league appearance for Hammers in the 3-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday, allowing the East London club to move out of the bottom three.
With two wins and a draw in their past three outings, things are looking up for Avram Grant's men and Ba is convinced the squad is good enough to hang around in the top flight next term even with two crucial London derbies coming up.
"I believe we can get out of this because I know the ability of the players here and we can do even better," the former Hoffenheim man said.
"We're not playing with any fear and it was important we moved out of the bottom three. We go to Tottenham and Chelsea away in the next few weeks and we will go to both places with confidence."
