Demba Ba is one step closer to joining West Ham United after he claimed the London club and Hoffenheim reached an agreement regarding his transfer.
The 25-year old Senegal international is now almost certain to officially become a Hammers player this week with reports suggesting he was even set to train with the club this afternoon.
Ba wrote on his official website that he was looking forward to getting on the pitch with his new teammates even though West Ham are yet to announce to six-month loan deal.
"I'm really happy that the clubs have reached an agreement," Ba said.
"I was eager to join the club and meet my new team-mates. I'd like to thank Hoffenheim for allowing me to join that team. I thank my family and all my fans for their support."
