AZ Alkmaar midfielder Brett Holman says Australia can go into their World Cup qualifier against Uzbekistan full of confidence. Uzbekistan played their first match in the qualifying round on Sunday against Qatar in Doha and were defeated 3-0.

"I don't think you should look at results they have played in the last couple of matches. We should worry about ourselves and how we're going to play the game and look forward to the game," said Holman.

"I know that Uzbekistan have a good team, otherwise they wouldn't have qualified for the second round.

"We've had one training session and we'll get stuck into it the day before the game, and hopefully come home with three points."
