Chelsea fullback César Azpilicueta has backed their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Former Arsenal captain Cesc is on the brink of signing for the Blues.
Azpilicueta said: "There is nothing official; Cesc is a Barcelona player. The only thing I can say is that I know him from playing by his side.
"He's a great midfielder with a lot of experience of the Premier and great players are always welcome. He's a special player; very few teams have players like him. He has a great vision of the game and ability to create attacking play. His figures are there to see and he adapts well to various positions... At Chelsea right now there is nobody like him."
