AZ Alkmaar have completed the signing of Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore.

The 21-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Eredivisie side, who become the sixth club of his career.

He came through the ranks with the New York Red Bulls before joining Villarreal, who sent him out on loan to Xerez, Hull City and Bursaspor. He played only nine matches for Villarreal.

Altidore has 34 caps for the Untied States, having scored 10 goals.
