AZ Alkmaar coach Gertjan Verbeek has confirmed Moussa Dembele will be sold this summer.
A target for Birmingham City, Dembele was barred by Verbeek from appearing at the team photo ceremony this week.
"I asked him if he wanted to still leave," revealed Verbeek, "and his answer was 'yes'.
"I replied that he then would not be on my squad list. I only want motivated players."
Brum have reportedly offered £5 million for prolific striker Dembele.
