AZ Alkmaar coach Gertjan Verbeek would like to see his gun prospect Adam Maher move to Arsenal. Maher has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City this season.

But Verbeek says: "I think Arsenal would be a good environment for him.

"He would work with Arsene Wenger, who knows how to bring on these young talents. I think he would improve a lot there, just like Robin van Persie."
