AZ Alkmaar have taken Liverpool midfielder Michael Scott for trials.

Reds academy boss John Owens said in his column for liverpoolfc.tv: "On the player front Michael Scott has gone off to AZ Alkmaar in Holland. He's on a 10 day trial there. He's a third year scholar with us and wants to assess all his options before making a decision on his future."
