The agent of AZ Alkmaar midfielder Joris van Overeem is seeking a late move away for him this week.

Van Overeem, tied to AZ until 2020, has battled for minutes this season and can leave on-loan over the next two days.

His agent, Rob Witschge, is in contact with several clubs across Europe, including Greuther Fürth, Atalanta, Chievo Verona and Hull City.

"Jorge would especially like to play football again. He has been good for AZ, but would like more minutes," Witschge told Voetbal International.

"Let us see if we can find the right club before the closing of the market."
