AZ Alkmaar assistant coach Martin Haar isn't surprised Barcelona are watching Adam Maher.
Haar has likened the 18 year-old midfielder to Barca star Cesc Fabregas.
"I am not afraid, he's sensible enough," Haar told Voetbal Primeur when asked about the Barca rumours.
"In terms of creativity, he looks very similar to Martens, the player he replaced. It makes me think of Fabregas."
