AZ Alkmaar striker Jozy Altidore has emerged as a target for a number of clubs in Europe.
The 23-year old USA international, who netted 31 goals in all competitions in Holland last season, could be on the move this summer according to reports.
MLSsoccer.com suggests that Sunderland is one of two Premier League clubs who are showing interest with Altidore's agent Lyle Yorks saying that the other unnamed club are in 'advanced talks'.
Also tracking the former New York Red Bulls, Villarreal and Hull City man is Italian club Lazio whilst interest from German side Schalke, Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev and Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg has now dwindled after offers were rejected by Alkmaar.
