Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez didn't hang about after scoring in victory at Tottenham yesterday.
It was Perez's first goal in the Premier League.
He travelled to Spain after the match, having been nominated for two of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional's most prestigious awards.
The Spain Under-21 international has been nominated for the Best Breakthrough Player and Best Attacking Midfielder prizes for last season.
Toon boss Alan Pardew said: "He goes to Spain to an awards ceremony, and hopefully he might pick up an award or two there."
