Carlo Ancelotti says he accepts Chelsea's decision after yesterday's dismissal.
Many Chelsea identities have expressed their disappointment with the decision and the manner of Carletto's sacking today.
Ancelotti told the Daily Mail: "I respect Chelsea's decision. I spent two fantastic years at this club. I think I did a good job. Now, I think about my future. I would prefer to stay in the Premier League."
Ancelotti is still expected to spend the next couple of days at the Cobham training ground finalising his departure, while reports in Italy last night said AS Roma were poised to try to lure back their former player.
