Raul and Roberto Carlos have joined the Real Madrid youth coaching team.
AS says Raúl, Roberto Carlos, Julio César and Juan José Vallina, among other ex-players, form part of a team who will be helping promising young players in Real Madrid's youth teams with their development.
The idea is to improve the performance levels and capacity of players in all of the youth categories - both individually and in each line of the team. The team of ex-players will begin working with the Under-16s and Under-15s and the three major youth sides, including José María Guti's Under-19s, and Álvaro Benito's Under-18s.
Raúl will work with the strikers while the two Brazilians Roberto Carlos and Julio César will impart their knowledge and experience to the defence - the former working with the full-backs, Julio César with the centre-backs.
