Andre Villas-Boas feels his Tottenham side has more quality than FC Basel but that doesn't mean he is writing off the Swiss giants.
Spurs host Basel at White Hart Lane in the Europa League quarter-final first leg on Thursday night and although Villas-Boas suggests his side has more individual class, he knows the 15-time Swiss champions will prove a difficult opponent.
"When it comes to the quality of the individuals, we have to admit that we have the superior players," Villas-Boas told reporters.
"But on the other hand the experience that Basel have - the fact that they have played Champions League, the fact that they are regular trophy winners, their recent European experience - also makes them one of the favourites.
"They put out Zenit (St Petersburg), which was a very strong team, and we expect a tough game."
