Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas admits Mousa Dembele made the difference in their Europa League success against Lyon.

Dembele's last-gasp strike sink the French and send his Spurs through to a last-16 tie against Inter Milan.

AVB admitted: "Mousa Dembele certainly made the difference.

"We regret sometimes being a team who needs to react but over the two legs we deserved to go through.

"We've been having some great, great results. Hopefully it can serve as an inspiration.

"When you score in the last minutes of a game it brings more confidence in the players to do it again in the next matches."
