Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas insists Fernando Torres can be happy with his form since arriving from Liverpool.
AVB is standing squarely behind the shot-shy Spaniard as he prepares to face his old club tomorrow.
And he said: "Isolate the last four months with the goals he's scored. It's not bad. A striker is not just there to put the ball in the net. He's there to create.
"We create enough opportunities if we win or lose games. It's creation of opportunities.
"At the moment, our best goalscorers are our two midfielders. For them to finish, someone is creating.
"The team is, so I'm happy at the moment.
"He's one of the best assisters at the club. Four or five. He's assisting people and the team are getting wins.
"Sometimes we don't get all the wins we wanted but we get the opportunities for us to win games.
"Fernando has picked up from last season. Not only with his form physically but also his movement for us."
