Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was delighted by the sight of Aaron Lennon back at training this week.
The winger has been sidelined since for the past 11 matches with a foot injury but could be available for selection after the international break.
"I'm extremely happy," said AVB.
"It's been a long time out for a player of Aaron's importance and the team is delighted with his return.
"He's proved year after year how important he is for us and to have him back is a major plus."
Of Lennon's possible return, he added: "Let's see how he works on the international break.
"Azza has kept his fitness very high with our medical department."
