AVB not worried about Chelsea job

Andre Villas-Boas has indicated that he is not worried about being pushed out of his job prior to the end of his contract.

The Portuguese tactician's future at Stamford Bridge has been questioned in recent weeks and even more so recently as the Blues dropped 11 points behind the league leaders.

But Villas-Boas is of the belief that he and club owner Roman Abramovich will see out the three-year agreement they made when he arrived in London from FC Porto in the summer.

"That question cannot be addressed to me," Villas-Boas said when asked if he would remain as Chelsea manager under Abramovich if the club fails in their bid to win the title.

"It can only be addressed to the owner of the club, and you know that he is not available for interviews.

"I have nothing to say. We have signed on a three-year contract.

"Hopefully, that can represent trophies for the club, which is what is expected of me."
