Andre Villas-Boas had a bust-up with Fernando Torres before he was sacked as Chelsea manager yesterday.

The Daily Star says the pair clashed after Villas-Boas gave a controversial interview to a Portuguese radio station comparing Torres to Chelsea flops Andrey Shevchenko and Mateja Kezman.

Torres has not scored in the Premier League since last September, but the Spanish star was fuming and confronted his boss at Chelsea's training ground.
