AVB delighted Tottenham got through Norway trip unscathed

Tottenham got the job done in the Europa League on Thursday night to maintain their winning streak in Europe's second tier competition.

The north London club defeated Tromso IL 2-0 at the Alfheim Stadion, situated in the Arctic Circle, and managed to do so without any injury problems from the artificial pitch which pleased manager Andre Villas-Boas.

"The players adapted to the conditions quite well," Villas-Boas said.

"The quality of the pitch was fantastic. We came through okay with no injury worries. The conditions were tricky with the first blizzard of snow, but after that it settled down."
