Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is confident of Gareth Bale's commitment to the club.

Despite needing their rivals to slip up to finish in the top four, AVB is confident he can convince Bale to stay.

The Portuguese coach, who takes his team to Stoke tomorrow, said: "You can always make your own understanding from what the player says and how he feels.

"You can see he is enjoying his football and all of the indications I have are that he will continue."
