Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas admits Erik Lamela is taking his time adjusting to London life.

Lamela arrived in the summer from AS Roma.

"We've talked a lot with him. He must adapt to the Premier League, but he does not speak the language. For Erik, this is difficult, but we're offering him our help, and his family arrived this week.

"He knows he has not done half of what he can do, but is aware that he must earn his spot," said AVB.
