Auxerre president Guy Cotret insists there's been no offer from Arsenal for Paul-Georges Ntep.

Ntep has been tipped to sign for Arsenal before being loaned to Rennes for the rest of the season.

Cotret said: "It's nothing.

"There is no agreement with Arsenal. There is nothing at all.

"Arsenal has not even expressed an interest in our club.

"We just received an offer for the player and it was Rennes."
