French outfit Auxerre and Premier League club Blackburn Rovers are believed to be showing interest in Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu.
MLSsoccer.com suggests that the 25-year old USA international has emerged as a target for the aforementioned clubs and a few others for a potential January move.
Auxerre's Ligue 1 rivals Bordeaux and Nancy are also showing plenty of curiosity in Edu, who arrived at Ibrox from Toronto FC in 2008.
Edu is under contract with 'Gers until summer 2013 and even though Ally McCoist doesn't plan to sell in the winter, he is again being tracked by Auxerre who were close to signing him in the summer whilst Blackburn are keen on a holding midfielder as they strive to stay in the English top flight.
