Australian referees Matthew Breeze, Matthew Cream and Ben Wilson will be the Asian Football Confederations match official representatives at June's Confederations Cup in South Africa.

Breeze has been selected as full referee whilst Cream and Wilson will be assistants at the tournament which runs from June 14-28 this year.

Breeze was delighted to be chosen for such an honour.

"It's another great honour to be appointed to such a prestigious tournament as the FIFA Confederations Cup," he said.

"It's also a great opportunity for Matt, Ben and myself to push for selection at next year's FIFA World Cup.

"We really enjoyed refereeing at the same tournament in 2005, and four years later we are more mature and better experienced referees which will definitely assist our performances."
