Australian PFA sign sportswear deal

Professional Footballers Australia (PFA), the country's representative body for professional soccer players, has agreed an apparel deal with Sports Portal, the official distributor of Legea sportswear in Australia, reports SportsPro. As the exclusive apparel provider to the PFA, Sport Portal will provide Legea apparel to be worn by its members at all PFA community programmes as well as leisure wear for the body's executives and management.

The duration and financial terms of the deal were not announced.

"We are extremely pleased to be aligned with a cutting-edge brand in Legea," said PFA president Simon Colosimo.

"Their close affiliation with the football community will ensure a mutually beneficial relationship that we hope to build from strength to strength through our various community engagements."

PFA general manager Adam Vivian added: "Legea is known for its contemporary sportswear in the world of football and we welcome the opportunity to partner with Sports Portal to provide our members with the Legea product which adorns many national and professional football teams globally".
