Australian first to gain admission to UEFA A Course at Coverciano

Former Brunswick Juventus player Joseph Montemurro is the first Australian born entrant to gain admission to Italy's famous football coaching centre Coverciano.

Former Brunswick Juventus player Joseph Montemurro is the first Australian born entrant to gain admission to Italy's famous football coaching centre Coverciano.

The magnificent headquarters for the Italian National Team, known as the Azzurri, is located close to Florence. Montemurro will sit for his UEFA A pro license alongside famous ex players from Serie A such as Eugenio Corini and Nicola Zanini.

The course runs for 5 weeks from June to July 2010. Montemurro is currently youth coach at South Melbourne as well as heavily involved with the prestigious Camberwell Grammar football program and recently joined the elite football program at Maribyrnong.
