A-League clubs are on red alert with Hull City considering the future of Richard Garcia. The Australia midfielder is in the sights of new chairman Adam Pearson, who needs to slash a wage bill which has blown out to over £40 million.

Garcia is eyeing a place in Australia's World Cup squad and a late move to the A-League could boost his chances ahead of returning to Europe after South Africa 2010.

North Queensland Fury and Adelaide United have been mentioned as potential destinations for the attacking midfielder.
