Tim Cahill is under an injury cloud heading into the World Cup opener against Germany on Monday morning (AEST).
The Everton star hurt his neck in the warm-up loss to the USA on Saturday and was forced to sit out of a full tilt practice match yesterday, indicating he may not be ready for the Germans.
It would come as a major blow to the Socceroos who have struggled to score without Cahill but he has not yet been ruled out of the match so there is still hope.
Along with Cahill, the Australians are still missing Harry Kewell is finding full fitness after an ongoing groin jury whilst Brett Emerton has returned from a calf problem but has not yet played any minutes in the lead-up matches.
