Australia coach Holger Osieck feels his side is in a strong position to take down South Korea in the Asian Cup tonight.
The Socceroos, who defeated India 4-0 in their opening Group C game on Monday night, meet the Taeguk Warriors at Doha's Al Gharafa Stadium on Friday afternoon (Saturday 12:00am AEDT) and Osieck is feeling confident.
But he understands that the 39th-ranked South Koreans will prove a tough team to get past.
''South Korea have a good team, they have some good individuals, they have a good structure,'' he said.
''In [their 2-1 win over Bahrain], they looked solid, and whenever you win you gain confidence from that.
''I'm absolutely confident that we have a good team. When you look at the names, that's one thing, but these names are not just on paper, they are on the pitch.''
And Osieck has identified Cho Kwang-rae's danger men for the contest, apart from Manchester United star Park Ji-sung.
"The No.10 up front, the tall guy [19-year-old Chunnam Dragons striker Ji Dong-won], he's very mobile, and the attacking midfielder in the centre, No.13 [Koo Ja-cheol, who scored twice against Bahrain], he's doing all the runs No.17 [Bolton's Lee Chung-yong], he is a good player," he added.
