Australia have dropped Newcastle Jets goalkeeper Mark Birighitti, Dinamo Moscow defender Luke Wilkshire, Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic and Nagoya Grampus 8 striker Josh Kennedy from their final 23 man World Cup squad.

Australia have dropped Newcastle Jets goalkeeper Mark Birighitti, Dinamo Moscow defender Luke Wilkshire, Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic and Nagoya Grampus 8 striker Josh Kennedy from their final 23 man World Cup squad.

Australia are in Group B with defending champions Spain, 2010 runners-up Netherlands and Chile.
