Australia national team boss Pim Verbeek admits he is happy that Everton star Tim Cahill is settled at the club.
The Socceroos gun is on the verge of signing a four-year deal with the English Premier League club that would keep him there for the remainder of his career and Verbeek thinks it is very positive that the 30-year old is comfortable in his current environment.
"In football, to play at your best, it's very important to feel happy and respected," Verbeek said yesterday.
"That's the situation at Everton, so if Timmy's happy there then he will play his best football. That's great for the Socceroos also."
