Australia captain Mile Jedinak admits there was a lot of frustration after their 2-1 defeat to France in their World Cup opener.
Jedinak lamented the manner of France's two goals - a penalty from Antoine Griezmann and a fortunate Paul Pogba winner.
"Yeah, the luck just wasn't with us," said the midfielder.
"For the first one, the ball just didn't run for us. The second was also good fortune for them. But that's football, we must take the positives from today, pick ourselves up and go again."
Jedinak continued: "We knew we had to get at that them from the start. We got ourselves back in the game, but it just wasn't meant to be.
"If we can maintain that focus, discipline and structure from now, there's no telling where it will take us.
"I'm proud of the boys."
