Australia national team boss Holger Osieck admits he is looking forward to the possibility of taking on our great rivals England.
A friendly with England has been touted for next June and the German tactician has welcomed the challenge of playing a quality outfit such as the Three Lions.
"It's always good to get quality opponents because that helps your team develop and get a good feeling for the demands of top international level," he said.
"To play England would be a great opportunity to add another decent name to the line of opponents that we will take in order to get to the top international standard."
Osieck named a 19-man squad yesterday for the Saturday, October 9 friendly with Paraguay in Sydney.
