Charlie Austin is convinced QPR can do better than just survive this Premier League season.
Harry Redknapp has signed only four players this summer in Rio Ferdinand, Steven Caulker, Jordan Mutch and Mauricio Isla (on loan from Juventus) and all could make their debuts.
Austin told the London Evening Standard: "It shouldn't just be about survival. You have to aim as high as possible. It's going to be a tough League, it always is, but hopefully with the quality we have here, we can progress. I think we can do well. If we can find the right system and buy into what the manager wants to do, we've got a great chance.
"Ferdinand and Caulker were big players for their teams [Manchester United and Cardiff City respectively] last year and their experience is only going to help us."
