Austin Aztex acquire Worthen and Marshall

USSF Division 2 Pro League side Austin Aztex have acquired midfielder Joey Worthen and defender Yohance Marshall.

30-year old Worthen joins from Richmond Kickers after stints in both the USL with Carolina RailHawks among other clubs and MLS where he played with Real Salt Lake in 2006.

Aztex President Phil Rawlins said Worthen's addition was a very positive one for the club.

"Joey's experience playing professionally at both Carolina and Richmond and in the MLS will be a true benefit to the squad this season," he said.

24-year old Trinidad & Tobago-native Marshall comes across from MLS club LA Galaxy on loan and will be with the Aztex, where he was on loan in 2009, for the whole season.

"We're delighted to have Yohance back and look forward to him making a big contribution with us this season," Rawlins added.
