Aussies skipper Neill nets first goal for Al Jazira

Australia captain Lucas Neill was finally on the scoresheet for United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira, netting the winner in its 1-0 Etisalat Cup win over Dubai FC.

The former Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Galatasaray scored in the 38th minute at Abu Dhabi's Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium as Al Jazira remained unbeaten in three matches of the tournament.

Neill will now return home to Australia ahead of Friday's friendly match against Malaysia in Canberra and Tuesday week's World Cup qualifier against Oman in Sydney.
