Lustica is set to play for Sydney FC in the A-League next season but many clubs in Europe are interested in having a look at him.

In 2007 he won the Inter Campus held in Sydney to trial with with Inter Milan in Italy, but an injury prevented him from training with the youth team.

He will now have another attempt when he arrives in Milan on Friday March 13 to train with the Monza, then go to Germany on the 23rd and England (to Norwich) on April 1st for further trials.

His agent, David Valensisi told calciomercato.com, "Steven is one of the best young players in Australia and the fact that Inter wanted him, only serves to increase his prestige. He was supposed to begin a period of training with the Nerazzurri, but broke his leg and everything fell through.

"It was an amazing experience for the boy (to go to Inter) now let's see what happens.

“Now let's see what happens. Now we will go to Monza in Italy, hoping that this will be a springboard for him.”
