Duric, now 37, helped fire his adopted nation into the next round of Asia's World Cup qualifiers after scoring both goals in their victory over Kazakhstan.

Duric scooped the pool of individual awards for the last S-League season in Singapore, winning the Golden Boot and also Player of the Year with Singapore Armed Forces.

The veteran forward, who has flirted with A-League interest from Central Coast Mariners and Football Kingz in the last 18 months, is in Melbourne for his preseason break.
