Shane Lowry made his senior debut in Aston Villa's overnight win against Stoke City.
The former ECU Joondalup youth team player came off the bench 73 minutes into the pre-season friendly which ended 2-0 in favour of Villa. 18-year old Lowry wasted no time in getting involved and four minutes after replacing Steve O'Halloran played a role in Gabby Agbonlahor scoring the sealing goal.
Lowry appears to have slipped through Australia's net after being capped by the Republic of Ireland at U21 level last season.bk
