Liam Jacob continues to make progress at Manchester United.

The Aussie goalkeeper moved to United 12 months ago from Liverpool and is now competing for a reserve-team berth in Warren Joyce's squad.

Jacob featured for United reserves in yesterday's 4-1 victory at Curzon Ashton to win the Jack Crompton Trophy.

This season could be make or break at Old Trafford for Jacob as he faces competition from England U17 European champ Sam Johnstone for a place in the reserves.
