League One Oldham have completed the signing of Australian stopper Alex Cisak following his departure from Accrington. The 22-year-old has signed a two-year deal after his contract with Stanley expired, with the Latics paying an undisclosed fee for the player because he is under 24.
"Alex is an up-and-coming keeper, but that does not mean he's not ready to go into the team," Dickov told the club's official website.
"Alex is a good stop stopper, is commanding at 6ft 4in and makes others playing in front of him very comfortable.
"We've watched him progress and feel he's the right keeper at the right time.
"People look at Alex's age, but he's a mature kid and he'll be a big player for us this season."
