Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio insists they were never interested in Mario Balotelli.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini says he wanted to sign the Liverpool striker before his loan move to AC Milan.

“I think the Coach was joking…" Ausilio told Mediaset Premium.

“We know Mario, we launched his career and care for him. Now we can only be happy he has this new chance. I think his Interista experience ended a long time ago. We haven't contacted him recently."
