Lyon chairman Jean Michel Aulas admits Rachid Ghezzal has rejected a move to Everton.

Aulas says they've accepted a bid from Everton for the winger, but he is refusing to move.

"Here we are dealing with a young player who had a great half-season. The Everton offer is high, it was accepted, it was refused when he could multiply by 20 his earnings from last year," Aulas told RMC.

"We are happy with the fact that he is here, but we would like him extended, because we do not want to see him go free next year. We made him a very good offer.

"From the first minute, he rejected Everton. I'll try to convince him one last time. If he thinks Lyon are better than Everton, then he must extend."
